Default Have you bought a Gladiator yet?

Just wondering, who’s put some cash down on a Gladiator yet?

Thinking of buying a Rubicon.

I'd like one, but the price is a little over the top methinks.
It appears the U.S. is offering $2k discounts to boost Gladiator sales with some dealers offering more savings over and above the $2k.
Might be worthwhile to sit back and watch how well these things move after the initial excitement in Aus.

Nope and unfortunately not interested in the slightest.

Too long a wheelbase to be good for the sort of off roading I'd do, too low a payload and tow capacity to be a good ute and unlike the old XR8 and SS utes, not fast enough or nice enough sounding to be a good show pony for me.

At 90k it makes a 70 Series Land Cruiser look like good value and I think they're ridiculous value.

I have a 2 door JL and I love it! Compare the Gladiator to a Ranger or Hilux, and the Gladiator has less towing capacity, less payload and its more expensive! It does not bode well when even Jeep Guys don't like it!

I can't see myself upgrading my 2016 JKU 3.6L for a long time. Will it outlive my XJ? Who knows? It is nevertheless a keeper.

Interesting take on the question Gladiator or Wrangler below. Seems to be a common theme that the Wrangler ticks every box. If one ever needed more space, the Gladiator would be ideal, but then you could always drop a rhino rack on the Wrangler roof, or hook up a trailer like an X1, X2, or X3 (yes, they are incredibly expensive) on the back of the Wrangler, particularly for longer journeys.

In my Humble Opinion Jeep got it so wrong with the Gladiator it doesn't carry much or tow a lot high priced and just looks pretty... Hilux set the bar a long time ago you would think the so called smart people who design cars would of at least matched the capacity of the top selling 4x4 Utes ... and then want to ask TOP $
And I bet they have No Resale Value after 12 months
I'll stick with my XJ

I’d buy a Gladiator but price really is excessive and they look a little too tame. I’d pay the money for a remake of this :
