Default Seats

So my XJ is pretty much back on the road after a few years of sitting.

I have managed to source most parts that i need however i have been having trouble with my front driver and passenger seats.

My XJ has the Tan Leather interior which is great however the bolster is basically gone and the seat is becoming extremely uncomfortable to sit in.

I have been to a trimmer and he said that basically he can re trim the seat but he will need a mould for the seat bottom as he hasn't done one before.

Just wondering if anyone knows where i could pickup the bottom seat foam for a XJ or any part of the seat.

I have a set of grey front cloth seats from a 95 that was repadded. You could swap your covers over to them. I am in Victoria, eastern burbs of Melb.

I went to a reputable auto trimmer with my grey cloth seats (pre update) because the vinyl started to tear around the bolster for my drivers seat. They replaced the vinlyl, and after they finished with it, the seat looks like it just came out of the factory. You would be surprised what they could do, and how original the end product can look. My rear bench is starting to look tired with feint fault lines in the vinyl. I will freshen this up along with the front pax seat together at some stage down the road. I think you need to find another auto trimmer.....
