Took the factory plastic mud flaps, cut them down and used the pre-existing holes in the ARB rear bar to bolt these "mini" flaps in place.
I know they are probably not legally long enough, but its better than nothing, and are short enough where they may not get ripped off. If they disappear on the tracks, then I'll pay for a real set.
Same set up as mine, even the same tyres,i did,nt realise my rear flaps had been modified, previous owner has done this, along with most of the other mods.Mines also green, but rescue green like Commando,s.Plus i.m missing 1 rubber bung from my ARB bar that covers the hi lift jacking hole.
Put the rest of my 2.5" Teraflex kit on this arvo. Relaxing with a Johnnie and Coke now :P
Kudos to SBR Offroad for selling me the kit and shocks. Their customer service is excellent, and my mates for donating their time and workshop to fit it up. I'm not mechanically minded, so I've learnt a hell of a lot through the process.
Note final pic comparison. My mate has a rancho 2.5" kit fitted by a local shop. He's not happy with me now
I had it set up to push up on the shaft of the lower BJ with a spacer that surrounded the top inside the inner C so that it could move up. No luck so far...
Hey Banshee. I have 2 ball joint press kits in the workshop and sometimes still have to resort to the BFH on some vehicles. Feels rough but that's just the way it is.

That makes me feel better! And less worried about breaking it while trying to get them out. I did the right side yesterday. Got it split then loaded the press up on the ball joint & did it up as tight as I could.
Then went & bought a 675mm breaker bar & did it up even more! Had that puppy so that the bar was bending as I hauled on it, moving maybe 10 degrees per yank, then BANG! Had a look & it had popped out by about 2mm. Rinse repeat until it was all the way out..
