Took the opportunity this morning to upgrade the engine idler pulleys
The OEM are plastic, the nuline pulleys are steel
Drop the power steering hose protector plate
Drain the radiator and remove the top hose
17mm multihex socket and long extension to flip the tensioner
5mm drill bit to hold tensioner off
Need to remove the turbo resonator mount too
The OEM pulleys have plastic caps
There's 3 idler pulleys
1/ One in the centre at the top
2/ One down the bottom on the left
3/ Lastly on the tensioner itself
The steel pulleys have slightly different washers
This was a two beer job
But I also took the opportunity to heli-coil threads for the turbo resonator and the turbo outlet pipe
Slowly getting the old girl into shape
