Default DPF or not?

Hi guys,

Sorry if this has been asked before, I have researched but couldn't find a definitive answer.

Looking at buying a Commander CRD.

I thought they all have DPF's, but some reading online suggests that some of the earlier ones did not? Or is this referring to GC's?

My brother's 2008 CRD XH has a DPF. I just looked at a 2006 65th Anniversary XH and it also has a DPF (and a bunch of DTCs relating to it too..).

Do any of the model years have no DPF? 2005's?

Thanks

All Commanders have DPF's
GC had DPFs from 2008 but my 2009 does not have one.
Easy to check, it sits under the drivers seat and before the massive muffler.

Thanks.

Now I get why I was getting confused... Strange the early WH and XH didn't have the same DPF setup.

The Commanders were built in Europe, not the U.S.

I thought all WH's were built in Austria as well?? Hence the model being WH and not WK...

And from my research all WK's (built in the US) had DPF's even the early ones...
