Default sensors (lane change)

seeking advice from the brains trust please... just had a small dint fixed on the rear bumper (2014 Overland). Since bringing it home having issues with sensors.... lane change indicators are staying on, however did start off with a chime everytime i activated indicator. Does the system need some input from jeep or a reboot to find its feet again.....TIA.

Yes bumper was removed for repair. Also got a warning to wipe rear sensors and words to the effect that they are not working.... now have 'blind spot alert unavailbale' displayed on dash.....

Had a similar issue in the past and turned out the repair shop took off the sensor during repair and when they installed it back they did flipped it around. So technically the sensor had the frame against it so was indicating a warning sign continuously

I was just thinking perhaps another thing that may effect them is if they have used filler in that area. The extra thickness may be able to trigger false indications.
