Default Repro trailer??

Doods, just considering building a repro 1/4 ton "Jeep" trailer, along the lines of the M100, M416 and earlier Bantam trailers.
Oz built versions were the 8CWT Jeep trailer, Models 1 throu 4.

Considerations so far
XJ leafs, matched to tow rig
OR TJ coils, matched to tow rig
5 on 4.5 (Jeep, Ford) marine/ oil bath hubs on H/D axle
Treg style O/R hitch
Stock Jeep steel wheels/tyres or matched to tow vehicle.
Matched ride height.
Marine sealed led lights.
Rear 2in reciever for bike carrier, recovery point watever.
Gal chassis
Unboltable tub- gal sheeting
Options as per other trailers
-Jerry can holders
-Gas bottle holders
-Gas shoks?

Any other Ideas?

Will still add up to a lot unless you can get a lot through contacts. That last one on eBay was sweet though and really do like them. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWA%3AIT&rd=1
Dont forget I have plans on my site you can use for the chassis at least but the body part would not interest you.

Not always more as some are right into the 'original only' things and have to have the right build plates etc. Not that way myself though.

Saw a Silver TJ sport on the weekend towing a tandem covered in trailer, must have been about 8x5, looked bigger than the Wrangler. Didn't get to speak to the driver, older guy with wife (partner? a bit PC) so I don't know what was in it or if any mods for towing had been done.

Some pics of my trailer, copy of existing Oz army trailer with some mods
tub unbolts so you can use it as a flat top, spring over or under depending on what your towing it with. Have plans if you're interested.
