Initial impressions count for a lot whan buying a new 4x4. Given that most comment on this pro-jeep forum are negative regarding the Commander's styling, I'd be very suprised if new Jeep customers will accept it.

What price will the Commander be? ~ $70,000 ???

For that price there are a lot of Japanese and European 4x4's that have a modern style which is readily accepted by new car buyers.

Ok, how do you explain the raging commercial success of Prado? NTrail ? X3? RAV4? CRV?

C'mon, you can't tell me any of these POS are better looking than Commander!

We all know how long it takes Jeepers to accept a new model. It wasn't that long ago that any Jeep built after the 83 SJ wasn't considered a REAL JEEP !

I can't wait until you guys see Compass and Scout.....

actually I rather like the look of the rav 4.. the x trail and even the CRV
I really like the above compass.. looks like an oversized remote control car..
its just the front end on that commander that is all wrong.. its stuck on the 80s
