Found an article in carsguide.com.au that says that the Commander is going to be released in June. Have we heard anything official from Jeep yet???

Yep, it is more likely to be available in May, will be at the Sydney 4X4 Caravan and camping Show.

I emailed Jeep to get the official line and got this reply:

Hi Brett,

Thanks for your enquiry on the Jeep website. In regards to your enquiry on
the Jeep Commander, we're expecting it to arrive in the country and be on
sale some time around mid-year. Unfortunately we can't confirm an exact
date yet as we're still finalising features and pricing. Stay in touch
though and we'll keep you updated on the latest news. I hope this
information has been useful.
