Default Spare wheel carriers

Anybody on here have a rear mounted swing out spare carrier that lets you open the rear window?
I've had two Ford Explorers that had them when I bought them so was thinking if they had them why not the Jeeps of similar vintage.
I'll try to put pic's up of the Ford's if I can find them.

I went through this dilemma with my old WJ. Sadly there's not many options available apart from build your own, buy a very expensive rear bar, a few hitch mounted ones, or the one that hooks on the rear tailgate.

The Explorer one's had a bracket for bolting onto the corner of the bumber bar. They had plastic bars like most modern type cars, but a bracket (read plates) was fitted top and bottom with 3 ( or 4) bolts going through and they also held the rig.

I did read a post many years ago where someone had adapted on from an XJ onto the WJ, that meant putting some backing plates behind the rear quarter where it all bolted up but it looked the goods.

Mirack.com.au in WA ships Australia wide.

I bought a fold down, but they have a newly released swing away as well.

Best hitch mount I’ve seen. Over engineered if anything.

I’m very happy.

Can tow as well but only up to 500kg.
