Default 2.7 EGR solenoid circuit

I am getting intermittent EGR solenoid circuit po 4003 fault code.was getting it with EGR connected have done EGR delete at the solenoid same now I did the delete at the ecu still the same could it be the ecu it's self

Ive read that theres a few things that shares the same earth wire ..wondering if something else in the line might be the cause

Stating the obvious, but check all your resistors and the diode in your delete circuit, if possible solder up a new one with new components. Also double check you have hooked up to the correct wires,,the old egr solenoid should be disconnected. Just what I would do ...let us know what the outcome is...good luck.

Have replaced EGR delete 2x , old solenoid is disconnected. Only seems to set mil around town /60km/h can drive 100km no problem till I hit town /60 zonethen it will light engine light

Only other thing that I can think of is maybe give the air mass sensor (connected to air cleaner box) a clean with carb cleaner spray or similar,,be gentle. Best of luck. Maybe someone else might have a possible solution??

Did swap the maf from my other WJ that was working fine, didn't change anything

Looks like I found the problem replaced EGR delete for 2ed time seems to have fixed it
