I have a few injectors that the guys said its scrap ..ive opened them cleaned it properly assembled them and took it back to retest and the guy said that these ones are in way better condition than the previous set (it was the same set) ..
Thanks! What part should I clean on the injector? The nozzle I assume? This nozzle was clearly a brand new part of the remanufactured injector. Unfortunately I have to buy the remanufactured injectors online as there is noone close by who can bench test them.
Do you really think me cleaning what was more or less a 'brand new' remanufactured injector will change anything. Definitely willing to give it a try but I admit I'm a bit lost as to what I should be cleaning.
Ive taken apart a remanufactured injector and it was so full of dirt it was unbelieveable ..
The whole injector comes apart from the top to the nozzle ..
Take it out of the motor turn it upside down connect the pipe and wire plug start the engine and see how it sprays if it sprays a line of diesel its too much it needs to be vapour not wet fuel ..
Small easy way of testing it self
