Default 2013 WK2 CRD Serpentine Belt Replacement
Afternoon Jeepers,

Im curios as to when the serpentine belt needs to be replaced on our WK2 CRD powered vehicles. I would also like to know if anyone has done this at home and what needs to be removed to do so?

I have just his 130K and have a belt at home for it and wondering if I should change it over...

At 130000 would replace ,no special tools and easy enough to change,take off engine andblack plastic belt cover ,also check idler pulley for noise,plus belt tensioner bearing.Rotate water pump pulley check for smooth operation.Plenty of info if you google it.

I would, sods law makes sure if it does break, it will be at the worst possible time.
Also 130k is a good run, put the new one on and if the original is ok, keep it as a spare.
