Yep, i brought it from auto alliance in december last year. Its taken a little bit of work to get it nice... and there are a few major mods to go. Its my first jeep and i wouldn't part with it for (almost) any price. Is there anything you can tell me about this jeep that i might not know?

First time I saw it was at the SJC Jday show and shine

I will try to dig up some pictures of it for you

At the time it had a 4" lift and 33's and was imaculant

The next time I saw it was at Auto aliance and is as you bought it. It was obvious that it had been used as it was intended and was now sporting 31's and what appeared to be a different lift

If it had have been as I saw it first time for the price Auto Alliance wanted for it it would have been in my garage in a flash but it needed a few little things and I would have meant I had to get rid of my CJ7 so it didnt work out for me. I am glad someone who is going to apprciete it owns it now.
Other than that it seems like a very good honest CJ8

Wow...

well, it definately has been used for what it was intended since then. I got it for a little less then the asking price from auto alliance. Its been an awesome vehicle! Tows a small boat with ease, gets your score up nice and high on the premium pump at least once a week, sounds great and has the potentual to be a great 4by. I can even take the back seat out and throw a single matress in the back and it fits perfectly. I haven't been stuck yet, although i haven't taken it through anything too challenging. I found a new track on Mt Gibraltar yesterday which was easy terrain but went around the bottom of some awesome bauxite cliffs (over approx 100m high).

Since i brought it the best addition i have made was a K&N Plenum and filter. (Plenum allows me to run a snorkel when i get a little more serious....and some hard doors) The improvement it made was definately noticed.

next up i think is some new tyres (anyone know what the simex M/T are like?) and maybe a rear air locker....

also...

reduced dif gearing.. is it worth it with just 31's? and how does it effect high speed revs?

thanks in advance for helping a newby!
