You dont need a SYE just because you are running 33's. Have you lifted the vehicle.

I've just changed to 4.88's from stock, and It is great!!
I ran 33 for about a year then changed to 35's,and found it much better than when I ran the 33's??

BUT, MY advise would be dont drive for too long on your standard ratio's.
If you do your going to need a TRANSFER CASE and possibly a GEARBOX/CLUTCH RE-BUILD as I just had done.

It doesn't matter how you do it, sell your sole, get a loan or make the missus sell her body to get your gears done.

Transfer??? How do u drive??? Mate those things are almost bomb proof.....
And even with ratios you will rip through clutches if u run offroad regularly.....

Ratios are not going to save your driveline...yes they make a marginal difference but not a noticible one. .... Don't bother doing gears unless ur going to 35's...its a waste of money....

Mine still runns all gears a ok and yes that includes 5th!!!!!!!

Hmmm....i HATE 3.07 so so badly. I wanna regear so badly. Everytime i go to do it tho another expense comes up like WHEEL BEARINGS!!!
I think gears are massively important on a rig running 33's plus as far as driveline strength and less wear and tear goes. But i dont know much so who am i to argue.

Are there any guys out there running the new 4sp auto with 33's? I hear that it handles 33's easily.
