Default GAS Conversion

Has anyone done a gas conversion on there TJ ?
Or is it possible to convert to gas ?

I know Xj's and ZJ's that have. BUT as far as i know no one has a gas TJ. A bloke was trying to do it here a few months back. Search for it. He was working with a Melb mob. Not sure what the outcome was.

yeah, did the question from Rob Davinsion,
he was on the right track, I have heard skuttlebut that the late model jeep electronics do not like the gas conversion. Also I have contacted local Jeep dealership and they said "it is not recommended"
I have now sent an email off to US Jeep Tech department to see what there engineers have to say, but no responce so far.

Do it if it's possible Mine has never run better than it does on gas. I still have to fit a stepper motor to the intake, it reads a few sensors and helps the car to acheive a 5-10% saving. But I'm more than happy with the current conversion. Costs 30% of what petrol does. Plus oil is still like new after 4000 klms, no discolourasion. 96xj
