Default Coil meltdown

Been having electrical probs for a while, as in previous posts, but today with a 2 week old coil, front coil meltdown.
Previous readings have said problem with front coil, 1 and 2 cylinders, so have replaced coil pack this is number 4. Lucky I still have the previous one to put in temporarily.
Any idea what could cause this? Wiring being soft and hot maybe. Auto electrician in Derby had to rewire the plug, maybe that's a problem.
Getting so over this Grrrrr.

Seems like it's over charging, 15.8v when driving and 14.8 idling.

Yeah that seems a tad high. Not sure it would cook a coil though

Drove from Karratha with it though, with long stints plus towing a van, maybe?

I'd have thought the ECU would have some problems before the coil pack. I wouldn't have thought that there would be a wiring issue, perhaps it's just because parts are old that you're having this problem.

Very odd behaviour though if it's a fault.

Seems it is all to do with an over charging pcm/altenator.
