I have the iDrive in my work Amarok and the difference is unbelievable. What felt like a 2sec delay on the drive by wire throttle is now an almost instant response. The different settings are easy to use and work in different situations. But the difference in the response is well worth it, and they really do only take minutes to fit, it takes longer to figure out where to mount it.

I know of one just fitted to a WK2 and they were more than pleased with it as well.

The only difference I can see between them is that the cheaper one has 4 settings including stock, one even slower and two faster, and the dearer one has 18 settings. A economy mode, or slower response, and 9 faster ones. Also has an automatic mode which detects driving style.

I have the windbooster in my JK CRD manual.
I am sure they all do the same thing and its just a matter of playing with the setting to find the one that suit you.
I have mine set on the lowest setting (out of 9). To me that is the setting where it feels the closest to what a linear throttle curve would behave like on my engine, anything else and it would ramp up way to fast and feel unrealistic (to me). All I wanted was to make it feel like a normal cable actuated throttle. But a huge improvement over stock nonetheless.

The Windbooster shows only 4 settings for the KK but 9 for the iDrive model.

I cant find a photo of it, but my Windbooster has 9 settings. x3 different throttle maps, and then x3 levels of sensitivity for each one.
I have mine set on the most linear throttle map, and the least sensitive setting.
I bought it 2 years ago, maybe they've changed?
