Oh and by the way I was quoted $250 to $260 to fit the Lukey L1291 which sounds right for out here they always add freight and the labour rates are higher.

Well I just picked up the car after having the Lukey muffler fitted and I all I can say is Thank you Oldgringo. This is one of the best sounding exhausts I have heard it's a nice and deep note. A real V8 sound. The missis will be pi$$ed off

Looks nice. Will have to change your sig

What's with all the chargers people are listing? I had lukey mufflers and high flow cats with a twin 2.5" exhaust fitted to a Toyota Soarer around 2-3 years ago for under $1000. Where do they get off charging so much? 3.5k for an exhaust with Mopar stamped on it? 1.5k for a bit of plastic cold air intake? Woah!

Hi Irvs351,

Good to hear that you are pleased with the exhaust. As previously stated, the guy that does my exhausts knows his stuff and is not a clown that uses your ride as a test case. He researches the pistons, combustion chamber and valve sizes in a given motor to establish the timbre of the note - and listens when you describe how you want it to sound.

You'll get a lot of envious looks as you're driving along.
