Default Aussie media release.... with pics (Tasmania)

Please forgive me for the copy/paste of my thread on jeepgarage.org and hence the American lean

The remote Australian state of Tasmania hosted the official pre-release of the WK2 over the weekend.
Funnily enough, I was actually down in that state attending a motor sport event, albeit at the opposite end of the state.

A mate of mine was one of the attending support crew, and I attach his photos and blurb here for you - evidently he doesn't know how well informed I am thanks to Jeep Garage.

What differences can you guys spot??????

Photos from 2 day Official release to the media for latest Jeep Cherokee to go on sale next month. All media personnel flown onto Launceston by private Jet ($2000 a seat). All vehicles looked smick for start of day, but not so clean by the end. Had plenty of work to do to get them up to presentation for the next day, 5.00am starts both days. Enjoyed the event, really impressed with the car and its features, especially performs well off road, and is expected to be voted 4WD of the year. Journalists were very impressed, so should get a good write up in the magazines. Well worth a look if you're considering a change, diesel model out late March or April, and made by a company associated with Caterpillar in Europe. Car is built on a Mercedes platform and is very European in appearance and quality, should sell very well for the price.
