Default Birdsville Races

Anybody heading up to the Birdsville Races this year?

It's been on my list of must dos for a while. I am thinking that this might be the year.

Info at http://www.birdsvilleraces.com/home.html.

Initial thoughts are to head up via Camerons Corner but come back fastest route possible as I won't be able to take too much time off work.

Anyone interested in coming along let me know. Or if you have been up that way before and are willing to share thoughts and advice then feel free.

Cheers

Adrian

Good advice re road closures PK. Was taking a bit of a look online today and there are definitely a bunch of roads out but there does appear to be access at this point into Birdsville. Will make some phone calls closer to the date, though, and get better confirmation. I will also make sure I have the flexibility to change plans if needs be!

The BMW would be a nice way to go that is for sure! Buying Bumblebee (my yellow TJ) has meant delaying my bike upgrade plans but one day...

Was marooned there last year. Was an experience.
