Default ACT Jeep TrAction Brindabellas Drive

I am leading a nice easy run with the ACT Jeep TrAction 4wd club on Sunday the 21st of July. We will be heading out through Blundells Flat, Pabral Road, Webbs Ridge, then into Flea Creek for lunch. Heading home via Gentle Annie Track (the 'original' flea creek track).

If anyone is interested, this drive is all about meeting other people in the ACT who are into the 4wd scene. No club affiliation is necessary as this is a purely social trip, however it is being hosted by ACT Jeep TrAction. It is a family oriented trip even though I don't have kids myself, there are several others taking their entire tribe with them.

Trip details are:

Departure: 0830hrs, MacDonalds Weston Creek.
Range: full tank of fuel will be plenty (except for CJ Brad)
Difficulty: ACT Jeep TrAction grading - C. ST4WDC grading - grade 3 (four wheel drive low range will be necessary, however recovery should not be required. Suitable for standard vehicles.)
Equipement: usual safety gear and recovery equipment (just in case), BBQ for your lunch (no cooking facilities available at Flea Creek), food drink etc.
Scheduled return time: nothing planned, but would really like to be back in civilization before dark.
Cancellation: If it rains heavily immediately before the trip, or on the day, Trip Leader (me) will make a judgement call on conditions. I will attempt to notify everyone I can if the trip is cancelled, however I will be at the meeting place to ensure that all are aware. If the trip is cancelled, a few of us will probably go for a short drive anyway (home around lunch time) to get all muddy :-)

If anyone would like further information, feel free to contact me at ants@tpg.com.au

This is a good opportunity for any ACT based members to cach up and have a chat. Of course anyone from further afield is more than welcome to come along if you are able.

I look forward to meeting whoever can make it.
