Default Jeep vs Patrol vs Landcruiser

Just out of interest, why Jeep? What made you choose Jeep over Patrol's or Landcruiser's? Not wanting to start a war here, just curious to get other forum users' opinions...it will satisfy my curiosity and may help some newbies on the forum....

Capability is the number 1 reason I bought 1. A Jeep is far cooler than a pootrol or cruiser any day

We used to have a Patrol, but we traded it on the XJ as my wife flatly refused to drive the Patrol. She is only 5ft and found the Patrol too big. So I looked around and found the XJ is just a capable, but smaller and she loved driving it. Meant I didn't always have to be the designated driver

Toyota don't sell a short-wheelbase 4WD in this country (and I don't count the RAV4 as a 4WD). Neither does Nissan. In Japan you can get a SWB Prado (not bad but independent front end) or a SWB Patrol (quite desirable IMHO). Neither manufacturer does a soft-top. So, Jeep it was.

Got a Jeep (TJ) for its 4wd ability and driving enjoyment.

and a Toyota (Troopy) which is good for all the things that the jeep is not.
