Default Saying thanks and goodbye

Well it actually happened. I bought a 200 Series LandCruiser.
in 26 years and I have bought 44 cars. To date the Wk2 has been my favorite. Mostly because it destroys what people think a JGC can do.
With the latest roof incident I was a little scarred and left me worried what the value of my MY13 was going to be. Didn't get what I wanted for trade in but that was always going to be the case. It's been a hoot and I know the dealer will make some good money on it but more importantly the next owner has NOTHING to do. (Below are the car deets)

Mostly I just wanted to say a big thank you to the amazing help from everyone here. It's been awesome to be part of the JGC culture and I would not have been able to enjoy so many miles and smiles if this site didn't exist.

I will probably poke my head up to sell off some JGC parts but in a few days the journey ends. Thanks to all.

Bren

Looks like you are getting cut up with the keyboard worriers on FB/Murchinsons post about your roof rack. It was only seeing Murchinsons post I was able to see how extensive the damages were.

Anyway, all the best with the LC. Do report back on what your opinions are with the LC.

lol. yeah i don't get people that just assume that if someone had some grief they bought it on themselves. I almost always start off with "dude, that sux. I feel ya pain".

funny thing though... I didn't even get the LC200 off the lot and it had injector problems AND it was encumbered. When the dealer payed out the trade in value there was still money outstanding on the car. Part of the Toyota Certified Used Vehicle GUARANTEE is that all this stuff is thoroughly tested and checked to meet the high standards of Toyota.
4 years with the JGC and NOTHING mechanical ... zero minus 24hrs and all this grief already. Think i will just walk away from this mess.

Standard Toyota Cruiser.

The rednecks just fap themselves off to a red bloody stump over things out of pure ignorance.

I genuinely hope you get the exception to the rule but in my experience the 200 is far less reliable than the Jeep GC even though the Toyota dealers are FAR FAR better at everything than Jeep.
