Happened to score a new free complete HP Dana 30. The fact I have it sitting in my shed means the decision as to what to upgrade the factory LP 30 was pretty simple.

This is going to have Artec truss and gussets added along with Artec HD lower control arm brackets. Chromo axles will also be added.
The brand new 4.11 gears in it will have to come out and new spicer 4.56 gears will go in.

Was going to put a locker in but it looks like the rear ARB is terminal so extra funds will go into a new e-locker for the rear and I may have to chuck the Detroit true-track back in the front for now.

Rear Air Locker has been replaced with a Harrop E-Locker.

Tested the new front end with the 35x11.5 Centipedes with internal bead locks.

All went really really well, so well infact, the winch rope didn't get run all day on a few tracks I have always had to in the past.
