Default KK Cherokee Indicator Issue + Fix

Just a post that might help some members in the future.

If sometimes when activating your RH indicator you get one LH flash before it starts blinking on the RH side properly, or if you tap the stalk to the right without going past the detent and it flashes 3 times on the LH side instead of the RH side (real embarrassing as you change lanes to the right ) the fault is the actual indicator stalk.

Very easy to replace too. Just have to remove the column covers, then the stalk is held by one screw. Undo that and the two electrical connectors and it's out.

Hope this post can help someone, I chased this fault with the dealer for years while the car was under warranty but "they couldn't replicate", so refused to do anything about it. Finally had enough and fixed it myself.
