If you have a code from the steering alignment, then adjust the steering to be straight (to fix the problem), it will take about 500km to clear the code by itself. It's some sort of accumulative average that the module calculates. Same with getting the problem in the first place; as I said previously, took me a week after changing the track bar to get the problem come up.

No code, it was just off acouple of degrees. The Aeroforce gauge gives me the steering wheel angle. Haven't had any codes that it could read at all, even when the brake light was on.

Reason why I mentioned battery is that my anti skid shit was going Labor on me at random times - battery died outside of a gun shop (with new gun in the back of the jk) have been having the odd moment with regards to the ESC and all that witchcraft since so thinking that I have a dead sensor or four also - apart from the fact that I havent had an ESC problem for a while :/

Time for another beer

Well, it was looking good...for about 15 minutes. Then they all started coming on again.

Also, a new symptom! My Aeroforce gauges have the steering angle displayed. It remained blank after starting for a while, until I turned the wheel for a tight corner in a carpark. And until it came on I was also getting the traction control kicking in as if I was spinning a wheel while moving off. In a dry underground carpark. Complete with power reduction.

It was also failing to display the instantaneous fuel consumption at that time, so I don't think it was the clockspring at fault, but will check for loose connections there today.

Charge voltage while driving was at 13.9-14.2V. After overnight 'rest' the battery is sitting on 12.3V this morning.

Well, I think I found it! (Again... )

Checked connectors to clockspring, all ok.

Checked right side front wheel speed sensor, ok.

Went to check left side & noticed that that tyre had a LOT more tread on it than the right one does. (4-5mm to wear bar vs 8mm to bar.) Then I recalled that I recently rotated the tyres... Moved the one with lots of tread to right rear & that one to front left as it was about as close to the front right as I had.

Short drive, lights out & didn't come back on. So far so good...

Wheel speeds across the axle must have been out enough to screw up the electronics????
Goes to show you, eh? I wouldn't have thought about that initially.

I'll keep an eye out for it to come back, but if it doesn't, then that was it and a few mm of tread screwed up the ABS.

How's that for over sensitive!
