Narva 72000 polycarbonate inserts with Phillips +130 globes. Won't crack or break, can leave them on all day and not worry about water crossings.

Mine did so heat damage on the insides due to HID's (55watt) but replaced them with 35's and had no issue, 55w is stupidly powerful and not needed and is a danger to other drivers..

Great tips here. I'm not ready yet for the cost of Speakers. Tell me, are those Phillips globes "legal"?

The Phillips +130 H4 globes are 100% legal.

They're only a 55/60w globe but have different gases and a different filament to produce the higher output without creating extra heat or current draw.

I've been running the +100 in my JKUR for around 18 months now and I'll upgrade when they go.

There have been issues with people who's system runs too high a voltage or too low a voltage causing premature life but mine are running great.

One of the guys from Jeep Konnection actually went from running JW Speakers to the Narva/Phillips combination as the low beam was too harsh in reflecting off other vehicles in traffic and when stopped at lights.

Yeah the + ones are. You run into issues when you get globes with >2000 lumen output, which is why HID swaps are frowned on without all the other requirements. The + globes are still under 2000, so ok.

Cheers guys. Found somewhere I Could order the Narva on line but strangely enough not the Phillips lamps. I have to use Aus sites as it is a flaff to change my credit card to be OK for overseas purchases.

I was able to find no name (presume Chinese) lamps of the same rating but not Phillips. Any thoughts?

Is it worth fitting the Phillips globes into the standard hella headlights or don't even bother??
I've been reading the IPF and cibies are really good replacements. Which are the very best? Really don't have a grand for the JW's
