Smile TPMS Sensor supplier

Unsure if this is forum etiquette OK, so happy to delete if not OK.

I have fitted some road tyres as the noise of the muddies was getting a bit much and now 99.9% of my driving is just around town with maybe 1x on-road trip a year since the pandemic closed down my Nat Parks volunteer work program.

So I needed 5x more TPMS Sensors for the original 18in alloy wheels (Limited) as the original sensors are now in my steel wheels with the muddies. I also wanted to see if I could get metal valve stems that could take the TPMS Sensors, as I was being charged $9ea x5 for replacement rubber valve stems each tyre change.

Came across these guys located on the Gold Coast in QLD.... Very helpful, well priced ($119 for 5x Sensors & Rubber valve stems!) and they confirmed the KK is different to the Wrangler sensors. They match the part number that is marked on my original Sensors.

I had to buy two sets of 4x each alloy valve stems, so the next 3x people who ask can have one of my spares to make 5x. (They don't sell a pack of 5). And I have 5x new rubber valve stems ready for when I next change my mud tyres in the steel wheels. It's a pity the don't come with metal valve caps but $4.07 on AliExpress and some nice knurled polished alloy caps are on the way.

They are all fitted now and read spot on compared to my accurate low pressure (0-50psi) gauge I use after airing down my off road tyres.

And I'll be be happy to accept any 'Finders fee' if you use the 'Trade30' discount coupon they sent me with my order to use for my next purchase. Unlikely that I will have another order as I have everything I want now and I paid FULL PRICE!!

I've yet to put any considerable km on them but no problems at all since Thursday when they were fitted.

Thanks for sharing the information.
Not something I need at the moment, but always good to know when the times comes.

Just FYI for everyone, the Schrader specifications advise that the battery life of the TMPS sensors is 10 years. Not clear if that's 10x years of rotating and transmitting time, or 10x years total in standby (stationary) & rotating using some sort of averaging system?

But if it's 10x years combined, that means most of our vehicles are getting to around that age. It will be interesting to see when ppl start having low battery TPMS issues.
