Thanks guys. I found the website and have sent Rodney an email. Unfortunately a lot of the pages on his site are now dead, but hopefully his email address is still valid and he'll receive my message.

An Atlas will go in, but not until I recover financially from what this GQ conversion has ended up costing me. Will probably look at it some time in December.

Can't do discs Gordo. You have to change the axles, and the centre (read: new locker) and it a disc conversion isn't worth quite that much to me

wow, got a response already. Rod's sent me some pictures of how he did his, and some info and his phone number to discuss. He did his on an Atlas t/case, but the same setup should work as a temporary solution for my Jeep t/case.

My only concern was that the brake on the t/case seems to lenghten the whole arrangement by quite a bit, which would require a shorter drive shaft and more drive shaft angle. I'll have to take some measurements and have another look under mine to see what room I have to work with etc.

Well it's all back together in one piece, still needs flares though.

I took it for a test drive yesterday arvo and there was a few teething issues. The guys will go back to the drawing board next week to make a few minor changes and hopefully get it sorted pretty soon.

Have been too busy this week to take any pics, but I'll try to get some more soon.

So the guys are putting sway bar links on the front diff today, so I can hook the factory sway bar up to the new front diff. Hopefully this will fix the problem where it was swaying all over the road, if not, it might need a rear!.

JimmyB also suggested that the pressure in the coil overs might not be right. After a bit of research, I found that they need to have between 180 and 200PSI of nitrogen in them. Not 100% what they come with from the factory, and noone's able to give me a firm answer, so once it's all back on the road, I'll be taking it to No. 1 engineering (suggested by the company that I bougtht the units from) to get them to check the pressure and pump up if required, as they have the gear to do it apparently.

With any luck (fingers crossed) it will be driveable this afternoon, and I plan on taking it away to get the rear tube flares done, and a steel roof made up. If all goes to plan, I should be able to test it this weekend. But it's a Jeep after all, and nothing ever goes to plan, so we'll see

Still no pics, I was planning to take some last night, but I managed to hack my thumb up taking the steel for the tube flares off the back deck and spent the rest of the night waiting in hospital for them to patch me up.
