Default Improving the Ride GC 2002

Firstly this is for a co worker so please don't shoot. I have a KJ that does get dirty.

He has a GC limited V8 and complains the ride is wobbly and he wants to smooth it out.
He bought it for the comfy front seats and V8. I think he has parked it on the nature strip a couple of times. Low range...... whats that??.

Does anybody have any recommendations for shocks koni, bilstein, ome that would make the ride more car like??

I've heard the XR6's drive like a car?

Surely your freind took the GC for a drive before he/she bought it, so would surely know how it felt before purchse. If he/she is firmly set on improving the ride then the rancho kit with incab adjustable kit, so they can make the ride how they like.

I thought that this post might get a couple of comments.
But if he ever decides to sell it I'll be lining up. It is one pristine machine.

Put LT tyres on it. The squarer, stiffer sidewalls remove a good deal of the so-called "sponginess". I have an '03, and i believe that the ride was much improved from year to year. Mine is not what I would call a 'good' handler.... but if I get out of the Grand and get into the Patrol..... well... give me the Grand.

Horses for courses I think....
