Are the three pieces welded together or three sparate pieces in the finished product?

Cheers

Quick question
Will these recovery points jut out past the plastic bits of the bummper bar or be like th JA ne that is way back and hiden b he bumper bar, air dam skirt
They stick out through the holes in the air dam so you can easily attach recovery gear, but they do not stick out past the furthest edge of the bumper.

For those that are interested, here are a few photos of the WK2 Recovery Hooks & WK2 Recovery Points installed.

Cheers,
Bill

They are 3 separate pieces which makes installation much easier.

For those that are curious about installation, I'm happy to tell you they bolt into existing mounting points in the frame, no drilling or chassis modifications needed.

Cheers,
Bill

Thanks. Does it require removal of the bumper?

And what sort of effort should we expect from someone to fit it?

These look fantastic and I'm impressed by their accessibility, well done.

However I am a bit surprised by the 'three piece' design, which could increase the stress on the bolt.

Can you confirm that the engineering certification takes account of the mounting method (ie the three pieces that bolt together) and isn't just a certification of the strength of only the hook piece?
