Default 285/50/20 on Overland with Quadra-Lift Suspension

Hi,

I’ve recently purchased a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland and looking to fit some wider 285/50/20 road tyres on the standard 20x8” wheels (I just happen to like the look of fat tyres on my cars).

I’ve read multiple tyre related posts on here but haven’t been able to find enough evidence to convince me that 285/50/20s will work without any issues on an Overland with Quadra-Lift suspension and that it doesn’t look a bit odd or is unsafe. How would the ride be too?

Has anyone got any advice - Any experience/photos they could share?

I have SRT wheels on mine

And 295/45/20 tyres

Does not rub

SRT wheels have different offset to Overland wheels and are 10” wide not 8”

275/55/20 seems to be a pretty common fitment.

Good reading here on tyre sizes.

I get comments on the wheels/ Tyres looking good

Has anyone run 285/60 r20's, on a 2inch lift ????

I see BF Goodridge have them AT KO2 and they work out to be a 32.3inch tyre.

I'm running Cooper Zeons in 285/50/20. Same as crisis, I have no problems with them.
