Had a chat to Jimmy tonight and some of the stuff from the F truck has worked a treat. I would say that it is only a few weeks off when we will get a better idea of his plans.

This weekend should see the rear arms being fabricated, OEM front diff mounts removed and new tabs installed for the start on the new arms in the front. We will now be using 3 link with trackbar in the front using a "I" beam setup on the mounts that were done last weekend.

Well this weekend was spent fitting the tub back onto the chassis, and building the cage. We had two factory CJ roll bars, which were our base for the front and rear hoops. From there I had a clear intention of what I wanted which I am happy to say Denis and I acheived. Still one bar to fit in the rar for the harnesses and also the two roof bars above the driver and passenger.
The cage is mounted to the floor in eight points, all of which will be intergrated into the chassis at a later date. We still need to be able to "once more" remove the tub and cage in one piece from the chassis to enable us in forthcoming weeks to do the belly plate and mount the driveline.
Also work was done on the rear quarters, checker plate was added for strength to the panels, and more of the inner guard was removed.
Anyways another successful weekend.

Got the inside of the cage finished, roof intrusions in, harness bar in and also brace to chassis now in for the rear, started work on the front fenders also. Got the mounting plates made up for it, frame for fender quarters also.

Spent the best part of the weekend seeting up the seating mounts and finishing off the welds for the cage.
Cage is now finished and painted. Seats are now also mounted with adjustment to 2 positions.
Nest weekend will be written off going to comp. Long weekend the real fun starts with the fab work for the suspension links. Cant wait for that one.

yeah kept going hard, was so mentally drained sunday arvo, think Denis and I got to about 3.30, and went stuff it, cleaned up and sat back admiring all the work. Rear shaft is built, just needs the double cardin joint welded on. Need to get the Flex plate next few weeks so we can start the bastard.
