Fitted new shocks to match the 2" lift, not much longer than standard compressed, but a good couple of inches at full extention. Looking forward to the improved flex

Also fitted up the bullbar, which was nicely snug over the two recovery hook brackets Will just need painting to match and eventually a winch rope poking out the fairlead hole

Edit: Should have taken photos sooner, as the bar has now been impact tested as well While test driving to the end of my street and back, I collected another car pulling out of a private roadway, that either didn't see me (a 2" jeep with roofrack? ) or thought she could make it, depending on which part of her story is true.

End result: 1x broken headlight surround, and 1x reshaped bullbar.

Will be introducing myself to her insurer tomorrow, after filing a police report to cover myself!

Unhooked the tandem car trailer and gave it a pat on the bonnet for being a good XJ for the 1500klm round trip.

Just finished off a trip from Darwin to Cairns. Went like a charm. Sucked the fuel though. Averaged about 13/100km. Not so bad with a fair bit of lift, 31's and sitting up to 120km p/hr

Had the good ole XJ detailed and installed throttle body spacer. Quick easy job. Didnt notice any change as yet. Heres one for sbadman... Went to park it down in the car park and some woman turned and drove straight into drivers side front end and hit my wheel Minimal damage but her car was a write off! Couldnt believe it. Xj Jeep Cherokee 1 Toyota Corolla 0... Guess it couldve been worse but still spewing! Just a note, damage wouldve been alot worse if mine wasnt lifted
