The 285's will look awesome. Looking forward to seeing the pics then.

I will move up to 265/65R17 when the time comes. Pretty much same diameter as I have now, but just the extra width. Just eyeballing it, I think I should have about 11mm now between the tyres edge and the guard edge. I will measure it one day. I will probably hold off until I finally find a factory bull bar for it.

When I was looking to buy this car, I saw a V8 that had a bullbar with the light hoops cut off. Just the bare base of the bar. Looked good so that is what I want to do. Just need to find someone who is willing to sell me a bar cheap cheap cheap. All in good time.

The other advantage is wheel clearance. Even with these tyres I had to tie the inner wheel guard cover back as it was scrubbing on the tyre when I turned right. 265's would only make that worse, but the bullbar is the answer there.

I will remove my bar and replace it with the one from the V8 since I have a winch and the current bullbar cannot handle a winch. It's aluminium though but if you are interested you can have it. Let me know what you want to spend and it could be yours. Will take some time though maybe another 6 to 9 months since there is a lot of other stuff to do. And you would still need to think of shipping.

Factory aluminium bar is what I am looking for, cheers. Freight is the killer though. Just did a quick search and it blows the cost out of the water.

Thanks for the thought though.
