Added some sail track to the back of the awning so I can run a tarp over the trailer while still being able to use it Will help keep the fridge in the shade etc.

Cheers

Default No.5 specs

G'day Steve, Great build! Looking slick. Just have a few questions:
What are the specs of that flat bar you used for the hitch? H&W&D
And what company sell the tarp roof?
Cheers
Colby

Flat bar is 16mm thick, 130mm Wide and 450mm long bent at the 200mm mark (short section bolts to the trailer longer mounts the McHitch)

The tarp is actually an end wall for the awning, you can get them on ebay or 4WDSupacentre Get the best you can find, mine is thicker than the 4WDSupacentre one so hoping it will be water proof but the main intent is shade and light rain protection.

Cheers
Steve

Added a simple external table for tea and lunch making etc.

Aluminium strip attached above the guard and painted black to blend in a bit.

Other half of the extrusion on a piece of flat pack do it yourself kitchen from bunnings, also stuck some rubber on the underside to stop it from sliding in the track and to take up the little bit of space the extrusion needs.

Done

Takes up very little room in the trailer and is perfect for small jobs like making lunch etc. The table sits on top of the fridge when in transit.

Cheers

All this rain has made me think about an addition for Camp Coffs, just in case it doesn't stop soon!!!

Picked up an early 80's generator (can't bear to use a new one), only 600W but will run a 20A battery charger no problem, which means an hour running will give the fridge battery a good boot.

It's a Yamaha so is nice and quiet as well (Probably due to the cast aluminium body). Runs sweet but when I turn it off the fuel in the fuel pump leaks out, looks like the drain plug for it (it's a mechanical one) needs a new gasket.

Now to decide if I paint it OD green, blue, or leave it as it is
