Does anyone remember that ARB bar Aus Jeep Action modified?
They cut the side hoops off and just left the centre hoop - pretty similar style to the wrangler ones. Looked great - i'd buy one of them for sure... I remember them selling it on here a while back, wonder who has it now

Very true, the early XJ's also had a FG tailgate.

Again beaurcrosy has its hand in what is said to be legal or not. It seems vehicles which have it standard as production based are allowed the green light on this issue.

Take for example Ferrari & Lambo's ect - giant Carbon wings and bonnets that are allowed in and ADR approved - yet you cannot leagally install an aftermarket CF bonnet or wing on a road registered vehicle that did not have it originally standard.....

I was thinking the same thing, use a arb one and knock of the outside hoops.
Any more thoughts on this?

Im not saying if these products are good either way as I have no idea of the materials they use. but the idea is great. check out mallcrawlin.com some members on there have these.
mallcrawlin was where I saw them the first time and those guys are pretty full-on with thier offroading.
