Default "Safe" distance between spring and sway bar links?

One for the brains trust,
As is says in the title.
Got about 15 mm now but if I bring the bar closer to horizontal the gap is going to close up.
I suppose what I'm asking;
Is 6-7mm gap enough?

Yep, from memory I have less than 10mm.
I do remember thinking "Gee, that's close", never had any prob's
