Default RockSlider Interest?
Hi guys works slowing down for me soon and looking to get into something else of my own.

Just wondering if there would be any interest in custom rock rails for XJ Jeeps. Id also be looking at doing them for KJ jeep, GQ and GU patrols down the track.

If there is interested in this It will motivated me to start to get serious and price up materials/cost.

OK guys finally getting there with my new setup/Workspace & got a few made up. Anyway here are a few pics of the basic sill protection Rock Candy Rocksliders. I went to get some shots of the set on my XJ, but of course the camera battery went dead on me so Ill get some tomorrow and they will be up tomorrow night.







Main rail is 50x50x4mm SHS, legs are 50x25x3mm RHS, pinch weld support is 25x25x4mm angle & the chassis brackets 5mm FMS all Duragal. It uses five stainless m6 bolts and washers through the pinch weld, six 10mm self tapping either side into the chassis and one m8 bolt through the rear leaf spring box. Finish is Por15 Rustproofing back.

I'm currently waiting for more info from Australia Post so I will be able to quote postage prices. There 20.6kg, but 160cm long & over there 103cm rule

Otherwise I look towards one of the courier companies for prices as soon as I can.

Yeah I'm keen, nothing to fancy/expensive/heavy just some sill protection with a bit of a step
