Default Anyone running Lund Elite Series FX-Flat Guards?

As the title suggests, has anyone fitted Lund Elite Series FX-Flat Style Fender Flares?

I need another 1" of coverage (more according to my wife) and was looking at buying a set from DBOR.

My question is though, I have a snorkel and was wondering if anyone that has them has had fitment issues with one?

Thanks,

When the time comes for me to get wider flares I will go with the uneek option. As I like the look of the stock flares.

I looked at these as well and still tossing up whether go down that path. To be honest, I never really liked the look of the stock guards however now that I have larger rubber they are starting to grow on me.

Now MauiJeep's post has given me something else to think about.

I spoke to Bill today and I might not have any problems fitting the Lund guards with my snorkel as he has fitted them with AEV style ones before without problems. Apparently Safari snorkels require some cutting of the flares though.

Not fond of the look of the Lund style fenders at all.
For a few more dollars you might look at the new wide Poison Spider flat metal fenders that SBR is now selling.....probably the widest true flat fender around, by the looks of it.
Otherwise, those new "stock" look wide fenders from DBOR would be a better pick, I think, than the Lund.

Just a reminder.
For those that don't mind the original style of flares, Uneek make the 1" - 2" spacers.
A lot cheaper than buying new one and you can't even notice they are there.
I haven't see any yet, just photos and descriptions on the website.
Has anyone on this forum fitted them?

I know where you are coming from. It took me a long time and a lot of looking at them for them to grow on me.

I was having a good think about it on the drive home from work and I'm going to go with the spacers Snort and Wazza mentioned. It's a cheaper solution (I can spend the savings on my air bags) and as I'm going to need at least 1" more coverage these can be stacked in case I do need to go larger.

Now I'm just going to have to get myself a nutsert tool.
