Default grrrrrrr. how daft can you be and still be breathing?

Finally got to take the JK back to the dealer regarding the DW's, Adrian Brien Jeep certainly take the cake on ineptness.

All they did was move the mounting bracket on the stabilser and adjust the camber and toe by a bees thingy. The JK now feels like the power steering is failing, in that there is no give in the stabiliser and very stiff, and at nearing full lock the stabiliser now hits.

I can't see how they aren't embarrassed to hand a car back like that. Seriously, has the mechanic never driven a car before? The worse thing is, they did this before and acknowledged they stuffed up.

Something that is very concerning is that the wheel balance was out by a bit by their reckoning. I only had this done 2 weeks ago. Every wheel had about 100% more weight added to it. one went from 5g to 30g - still it's not the problem.

Before I even took the car for a drive I told the service guy that what they were doing wasnt going to make any significant difference. Then it started...

The whole its an "OME problem" rhetoric began to be spouted. I asked him if I put all the original suspension back in and if they still had all the same problems would they pay for the OME to be put back in. "Oh yes, oh yes" was the reply. I looked at him and politely asked for my suspension parts because they never gave them to me because they organised the suspension. He had no response and turned pale.

Going to be on the dealers doorstep 7.30am with a rather insistant manner.

ARB morphett vale ARE better. at least they are going to try.

Biggest problem is I just dont trust either of them.

Welcome any feedback / suggestions

Bren

Camber and Castor are fixed. If they told you they adjusted it, they are full of s#$t. The only thing adjustable is toe in.

Chryslers official JK dw "fix" has landed and it will be available "soon". Rumors suggest part of the fix may be a new dampner.

I'd suggest waiting till it's released, getting it installed then see how you go?
