Default Want to turn her in comp rig

Folks

Need some ideas and suggestions dont know where to start from

My plans are to turn my JK into a comp rig. So far my main list is

Cage
LS2 or LS3 block
Chasis strengthed
Body Modifications

Where do I start not sure if its gona be road legal anymore bec none of the stuff like ABS, Air Con, Air bags etc will work. Which I dont need anyway.

So far I have the drive train sorted out
Solid D60 Axles front and rear with air lockers 35 spline axles kingpin knuckes
1350 woods driveshafts
rubi rock trac transfer case (not sure if it will help for comp?)

I was thinking to keep her as it is and just get a already built comp rig but i dont want to have 2 moddified rigs ministry of finance will not approve

Ideas please

All depends on what comps you want to do? Build it with that in mind.

i think your getting pretty close..
as maz said work out what comps you want to enter, and how far you want to take it..

for tuff truck, alot of cutting/body modification would be required, basically elabrate buggies with a grill and light is the go to place well.

Your jeeps got a good body on it right now
maybe set it up as a winch challenge truck?
your list of mods would suit that well
big v8 up front
cage for obvious reasons
need a new winch.. (believe the cost is approx 7-12k plus spares- for a competative winch)
37 inch tyres would be fine, (add some beadlocks if u dont have them already)

Shake n bake, check out his truck and user name, will give u an idea. plus looks like a fun way to race ur truck

Get a navi.
Drive it like you stole it
Enter Vic winch for starters. As is. No V8 no further mods. You can even run your cage. Window nets and a roof panel is all you will need to add.

Might want to pay some serious attention to axle strenght (particularly the front)
