id still like to know what temps a stock setup runs...would be good to have a benchmark to gauge any improvements...Kyphonii is your setup all standard? do you have the dealer installed auxillary cooler as well as the std cooler/heat exchanger?

I have a standard set up as far as I know.
Cooler line from the transmission to a smallish cooler in front of the radiator then to the radiator heat exchanger. I think its that order, at least it should be.
The air cooler is only about 75 mm high at a guess, I'm not near the vehicle at the moment.
I'm in Townsville so I have a 32+ degee ambient temp and the air con is always on.

yeah, thats the stock setup without the dealer aux cooler...post us some ambient and tranny temps during your everyday driving - will be valuable info

Hey Roge,
Mine at the moment is standard and gets up 120'c when off road and giving it some.
Have the PWR cooler at home. Just got to get it installed.

Several hours of running around town Friday afternoon with my new second hand transmission, 33-34 degree sunny day high humidity. Air con on always.
The engine sits on the thermostat at a needle width under 100 by the gauge but thats a little high, and eventually the transmission will get to about 85-90 degree's, so I'm now of the opinion that the transmission is actually a cooling effect on the radiator when its on little duties and the radiator will heat the trans oil to the thermostated temp.
I will take the transmission out for a work out soon and see how that goes.
