Picked up a pair of the 800mm TRED recovery tracks + a bag to suit from Super Cheap this evening to replace the FRP grating that some scumbag knocked off. These will live permanently in the car, preferably attached to the back seat once I sus out how best to achieve that (I'm thinking a couple of ocky straps should do the trick!).

Took the kids exploring fire trails around the back of Mundaring today. Can't wait to get some decent tires, lift, etc and go playing in some more serious stuff..

Fitted the Uneek 4x4 recovery points today. Apart from being absolutely certain I was going to break something while pulling the lower bumper fascia / air dam off, it was a very easy install.

Have also done a bit of shopping lately.. have hitch mount recovery point for the rear, snatch strap, tow strap, tyre repair kit, shovel, 800mm tredd recovery tracks, compressor, tyre deflator and a couple of shackles sitting in a box in the boot now. 32" LED light bar sitting in the spare room waiting for me to install it (wiring harness is a couple of weeks away yet though, sigh). Awning arriving next week..

Bring on beach and camping weather

...still need lift and tyres! ... and then some underbody protection.

Warby, is that colour Winter Chill? It looks great. Discontinued sadly, because it would have been our first colour choice if it had been on offer for the MY14.

Your Jeep is coming along nicely with the mods. Next on my list is a lift kit!
