Default Provent

Hi Guys, I have just emptied the drain tube of my provent ( which I fitted)after 5,000 km.
There was a fair bit of water that came out first and then a small amount of oil came out.the water was clear. Is that condensation? and is it normal?

If your engine oil is not milky I would put it down to condensation.

HI Guys

i just wanted to confirm you have the Pvc hose going to the top of the Provent and out at the bottom to the intake ? as i still get a bit of oil in my intake . i have the stainless filter in my provent .
so i was thinking how the hell is the drain gonna work if the inlet is at the top.
so reckon the arrows on the provent are wrong. should be in at the bottom so the oil can fall into drain and the air has to push up through the filter then out at the top to the intake.

how have you guys got yours connected ?
and if you have the pvc going to the top do you have some build up in your intake still ?

Red face Provent plumbing

Hi WH 3.0

Provent does a wonderful job of filtering oil from PCB system
Here's a shot of mine this week

The top inlet is plumbed to the cranckcase breather
The bottom outlet is plumbed to the inlet tube before the turbo

Hope that helps
Cheers
