Default Crappy reporting by the "West Australian"

Have a read of this article, people bog their TOYOTA F9.
Then the reporter goes on to call it a Jeep, on several occasions, there is something seriously wrong with reporters these days.

https://au.news.yahoo.com/thewest/wa...s-wrong/#page1

Jeep should ask for an appology.IMO

Crap "journalism" and a couple of idiots
But is that really the best they could do? Don't look very muddy or bloodied for people who were digging a car out with their hands to get back to the kids, didn't even have the spare jammed under a spinning wheel.
Looks like a media stunt to me.

"They say there will go 4wding again with a Eperp and Flares"

How about a winch, that might be a better investment.

Hmmm, that is a typical example of modern shoddy reporting and lack of editing skills.

Calls the Toyota an "F9" and the gem:

Quote:
They did not have the energy to go walking again and thought it was safest to safe with the jeep.
"Safest to safe", you mean "safest to stay", perhaps?

And Jeep is a proper noun you idiot! If you are getting the make wrong, at least capialise properly!

You sound very much like I did when I read it Banshee.
But as well as that, I just shook my head when I looked at the predicament they were in. It didn't even look bogged and someone simply dug a bit of mud out from in front of the wheels and drove it out for them.
Even one half baked piece of recovery gear wold have got him out by the looks of the video on it.
Or maybe Toyota "f9 jeeps" don't like being near mud.
