Default Soundbar Speaker Upgrade

The time has come to finally upgrade the crap speakers in the soundbar.

Anyone know which of the cables to the current speaker is the positive and which is the negative.

They are currently connected through a clip which I will need to chop off to connect to the new speakers.

Cheers Tom, looked at these but at $150 plus shipping couldn;t justify the proce. Have installed a set of kenwood 3way 6.5inch speakers now. Cost be $80 and am very happy with the result.

Hi are we talking about the Infinity Premium system here? I will be interested in your results as most car sound guys said it was a waste of money being that the 2 ohm feed was feeble at best!

However while you have the speakers out fill the cavity with any sort of sound deadening fluffy stuff you can find...and old pillow stuffifg is great !
Let us know please

Don't think it's the infinity system, whatever is standard in the renegade pack.

Definately still not the best system I have heard but still a lot better then factory. Can't expect too much from just an upgraded set of speakers but I don't want to spend a lot on it.

Before the upgrade changing the balance and fade to just select one of the speakers was barely audible. As a point of comparison doing this now sounds very clear.

Didn't do anything special with the install as far as deadening etc. Just a straight swap.

Stock renegade system is the Infinity for most. Has the six stacker CD player in the dash and the amp under the steering column. Interesting to hear just upgrading the sound bar speakers made a noticeable difference. If I fade mine so that all 4 are equal the fronts are almost off and I have to increase the volume from 1/4 to 3/4 to get the same volume (and it sounds like shite...)
