Default DIY Bumpstops
Hi All,

Since I'm heading offroad on Sunday and I'm still waiting on my bumpstop extensions from wooders I'm curious to know what you guys have done in the way of DIY bumpstops....

I heard someone mentioned a couple of rubber mallet heads from bunnings etc and the old skate board wheel etc...

what have you guys done?
How did you fasten them in or are they floating?

Would really appreciate any pics you might have as well.

I know they have used hockey puk's and boat roller from a trailer.

You can always stuff a couple of tennis balls in there as an interim setup, no need to fix them in and should help a bit.

Yeah, I made those wacky rubber mallet head bumpstops for the rear of the KJ, work a treat, but, a bit of a bodgy at the moment, I've used a special industrial outdoor double sided tape to fix them to the lower coil mount, they anit going anywhere with that stuff, but, i will drill and fix them in place propery when I get a chance.

You can see them (just) sitting down the bottom of the coils

Rubber hockey pucks I have always used glued in with gutter sealant as found it stronger than any other adhesive I tried over the years.
