Hi Blue Fin

I used Senson grease which is just an electrical grease similar and cheaper would be available from Jaycar or Dick Smiths and Denso Tape which is a greased cloth tape and great for sealing pretty much anything against moisture it available from Blackwoods and only around $10 a roll

I unpluged the connector to the motor and covered the pins withe the senson grease I also filled the shell of the plug with the grease and also the conduit that covers the wiring plugged it back in and coved the lot with the Denso tape and "smeared" the tape onto the housing and to itself so there were no voids

Denso tape is a great product easy (but messy) to use and just as easy to remove

I made a rubber boot using some rubber tube and locktite rubber glue but I wasnt happy with it and the Denso does a better job anyway

Cheers
Craig

Finally got time to assemble the new to be rock-sliders over the last weekend.
There on now, but will add a side step to them over the coming weekends.

Anyone knows a good powder coater that can also sandblast the sliders in Perth Area ?
